I went to a concert of MESSIAH today, and I had some new experiences.
First, solo singers entered the stage. They were one woman
and three men.

I had not checked the cast well, but a counter tenor singer
sang the alto solo parts. His voice was really beautiful,
and fantastic.

Next, I did not see the chairs for solo singers.


?????


To my amazement they sat down in the first line with the chorus.


?????


They sang both the chorus parts and the solo parts. How tough !!
This concert was a full-length performance of MESSIAH (53 songs).
Though they are professionals, I think it was really tough work.

Then, Hallelujah and Amen were joined up with a boys and girls chorus.

Their performance was great, and I had a valuable experience.
